These meetings should be geared towards ensuring all general members are learning important professional skills with the necessary resources. Applicants should be creative and have a strong desire to engage and lead discussions with all members of the organization. Time management and proficiency in Google Slides are important skills for this committee!
The events committee holds the responsibilities of creating, planning, and executing all FBLA chapter and semester events, such as Dining with the Distinguished and our Spring Career Event. Creative thinking and strong communication skills are a must, and individuals who are willing to take the first step in terms of reaching out to potential professional alumni, company connections, or broaching new ideas are ideal candidates for this committee.
As part of the fundraising committee, the primary responsibility would be to help raise funds for FBLA through various events and activities. The committee will work together to develop fundraising ideas into reality through collaboration, discussion, and detailed time management. Applicants are strongly recommended to have a bright, creative mindset, but prior experience related to fundraising is not required. Individuals will also need to be able to work in groups but be independent when needed. Time management and organizational skills are crucial to ensure that the fundraising committee is able to accomplish its goals.
